Recently, Nalgene announced the introduction of a new BPA-free Grip-n-Gulp bottle design for kids. Part of their new Everyday line of products, the Grip-n-Gulp Tritan is manufactured with Eastman’s Tritan copolyester, an impact resistant material that withstands a wide range of temperatures and does not contain BPA.
The Nalgene Grip-n-Gulp water bottle has become an indispensable part of our family’s daily comings and goings ever since it was introduced. We take this bottle everywhere - in the car, to preschool, hiking, to the beach, to the ski lodge and generally anywhere someone might say “Mommy, I’m thirsty”. Unlike sippy cups you can buy in the supermarket, the Grip-n-Gulp is much more durable and leakproof (in other words, I don’t panic when this bottle is flung across the car and rolls under the seat filled with orange juice). The sippy spout is also easier to keep clean than other sippy cups because of the removable spout valve which pops out and can be run through the dishwasher. You can also buy replacement valves when they become worn out.
